This kit combines your choice of an Israeli full-face mask, a factory-sealed Israeli M80 40mm filter, the ONYX 45 powered blower, and a compatible flexible hose. Instead of relying on the wearer's inhalation alone to move air through the filter, the blower moves filtered ambient air toward the mask.

The result is a complete powered-air configuration ready to store, practice with, and add to an emergency-preparedness plan without sourcing the mask, filter, blower, and hose separately.
Important: This is respiratory protective equipment, not an asthma treatment, medical device or oxygen source. Asthma and other breathing conditions vary greatly from person to person. Anyone with asthma, COPD, heart disease, or another condition that may affect breathing should obtain individual medical advice before use. Proper mask sizing and a reliable face seal remain essential.
A standard filter-only mask uses negative pressure: each inhalation draws outside air through the filter. The ONYX 45 adds a battery-powered blower to the airflow path, reducing reliance on the wearer's inhalation alone when the system is correctly assembled and operating.

Fit matters. Select the mask based on the intended user's size and ability to achieve a proper seal. Powered airflow does not compensate for an incorrect mask size or a poor facial seal.
Batteries are not included. The ONYX 45 requires four CR123A lithium batteries.

This kit filters and moves ambient air. It does not create or supply oxygen. Do not use an air-purifying system in an oxygen-deficient or unknown atmosphere, or outside the documented limits of its components.
Protection depends on the selected filter, correct mask sizing and fit, an intact airflow path, correct assembly, and sufficient battery power. Powered airflow does not remove the need for a proper mask seal.

Both options include the same ONYX 45 powered blower, Israeli M80 40mm filter, and compatible hose. The difference is the mask: the Adult option includes the Israeli 4A1 / Black Diamond full-face mask, while the Kid option includes the smaller Israeli 10A1 full-face mask.
The Adult option uses the Israeli 4A1 full-face mask and is intended for ages 15 and older. The Kid option uses the smaller Israeli 10A1 full-face mask and is intended for ages 8–14. Age is only a starting point; face size and the ability to achieve a proper seal are more important than age alone. For younger children, we offer powered-air protection for ages 2–8 and infant protection for ages 0–2.
The blower supplies powered airflow through the filter, reducing the effort otherwise required to inhale through a passive filter. Complete all operational checks before use.
No. Both the Israeli 4A1 and 10A1 are tight-fitting full-face masks, so correct sizing and a reliable facial seal are still required. Powered airflow does not compensate for an incorrect mask size or anything that interferes with the sealing area.
The system uses a standard 40mm threaded connection compatible with EN 148-1/Rd40 components. The kit includes a factory-sealed Israeli M80 40mm filter. Thread compatibility alone does not determine what hazards a filter protects against, so the selected filter must still be appropriate for the intended use.
A beard or other facial hair that crosses the sealing area can interfere with the seal of both the 4A1 and 10A1 masks. The ONYX 45 provides powered airflow, but it does not eliminate the need for a proper face seal. If you cannot achieve a reliable seal, a loose-fitting powered hood may be a better option.
