One Coordinated Family Emergency Kit
Different generations need different equipment. The 4A1 full-face masks serve adults who can obtain a secure facial seal. The 10A1 powered-air kit is sized for older children and younger teens. The MultiPro is a powered-air hood intended for babies, and the senior kit adds assisted airflow to a fitted adult 4A1 mask.
The included spare M80 filters give you additional replacements for compatible 40mm respiratory equipment without having to purchase them separately.
Fit, Power and Filter Guidance
Check each wearer's age, face size, fit and seal before ordering. The youth 10A1 is intended for ages 8–14; older teens may need an adult-sized model. The baby MultiPro hood is intended for ages 0–2. ONYX 45 blowers require four CR123A lithium batteries per blower, not included; follow the MultiPro instructions for its power requirements. The powered-air adult and youth masks still require an effective face seal.
Facial hair can interfere with tight-fitting masks. If an adult cannot achieve a seal because of a beard, see our powered-air hood for bearded adults.
Before an emergency, inspect the masks, hoods, filters, hoses, batteries and blowers. Practice setup in clean air and confirm the complete system is suitable for the intended conditions. A compatible 40mm thread does not establish protection against every hazard. Air-purifying respirators do not supply oxygen and must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
Condition Note: This is an unused Israeli defense NOS item. Due to storage, some units may show slight yellowing or discoloration. These cosmetic variations do not affect the item's protective performance.
