Supergum Quartz-andningshuven för barn, även kallad Mamtak, är ett komplett motordrivet luftrenande andningsskyddssystem (PAPR) som är särskilt utformat för småbarn och barn från 2 till 8 år. Den utvecklades ursprungligen av Israels försvarsministerium och delades ut till alla barn under nationella nödsituationer i Israel. Detta är autentisk civilförsvarsutrustning som är byggd för att skydda små barn mot luftburna CBRN- och NBC-hot.

We practiced putting it on while cartoons were playing. By the second try she knew to sit still and let me lower the hood over her head, which made the process easier.
The hood worked well when we practiced with it. My main surprise was the size: it takes more storage space than I had pictured from the product photos.
The clear front is excellent. We can see her expression and she can see us.

Bought this for our youngest after getting masks for the older kids. The hood is clearly the better format for her age.
The concept is good, but our first practice was chaotic and my son really did not like the blower sound. We will need to introduce the hood more gradually rather than rush the process.
Good choice for a family kit. I can manage the hood without asking a young child to understand straps or seals.
I bought this after realizing that an ordinary mask was not realistic for my preschooler. For us, the hood approach makes much more sense than trying to manage a conventional mask.
The setup made more sense in person. Once the hose was connected, the rest felt intuitive.
My son hates anything tight around his face, so I expected resistance. He accepted this hood much better than I thought he would, which was a relief.
The window is larger than I pictured, and the child does not feel hidden away inside the hood. That turned out to matter more than I thought.
Very pleased overall. My only wish is for a more compact carry pouch, because all the parts take up a fair amount of shelf space.
The airflow is noticeable right away. My child did not complain about feeling hot during our short test.
Simple and sturdy.
I tried it with my five-year-old for a few minutes. There was no panic and no pulling at the hood, and the airflow seemed to help her stay calm.
