Protect Different Ages With the Right Equipment
Every family member has different needs. The adult 4A1 masks are intended for adults who can achieve a reliable facial seal. The MultiPro baby hood and Quartz child hood are separate complete powered-air kits designed for different age groups; both hoods are included. The older child or younger teen uses the 10A1 powered-air full-face mask, subject to correct sizing and seal.
With five additional M80 filters, your family also receives replacement filters for compatible 40mm systems, beyond those supplied with the individual kits. Having a coordinated kit makes it easier to plan, organize and inspect equipment for each family member.
Fit, Batteries and Respiratory Protection
Follow each product's age guidance and verify the fit, condition and correct setup of all components before use. A fitted 4A1 or 10A1 mask needs an effective face seal, even when powered airflow is connected.
Facial hair may compromise the adult mask's seal; if necessary, choose a suitable powered-air hood for bearded adults.
ONYX 45 blowers require four CR123A lithium batteries per blower, which are not included. Read each kit's instructions for batteries, filter compatibility, assembly and pre-use checks. Inspect the hoods, hoses, batteries and filters and practice setup in clean air before an emergency. Air-purifying respirators do not supply oxygen and must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
Condition Note: This is an unused Israeli defense NOS item. Due to storage, some units may show slight yellowing or discoloration. These cosmetic variations do not affect the item's protective performance.
